So no matter which brand you go with, it does add some re-sale value. And that's always a good thing, right? I loved the no VOC as I usually end up with a migraine after painting unless I have every window in the house open. It seemed to work out pretty well. No fumes, no headache. Just a slight "freshly painted" odor. I was worried it wouldn't be as good as some of the more expensive brands but so far it's held up well. ~ib mommy I used the Olympia brand from Lowes for the middle child’s room. We've used it for the past two years, as we repaint our way through our home. It has a little smell but it is gone in mere hours, you have the full range of color choices (with the exception of your really dark ones), and it is about $40/gallon (they regularly run specials). Most of the painters I got estimates from said they only use Sherwin Williams as it provides a more even finish and uses less paint. We like Sherwin Williams, Harmony.
