Sorry for getting back to you so late. Naw, don’t bother putting me in the hat. I’m a wannabe tea drinker but coffee always wins out. I’ve got a whole box of unopened tea boxes in my closet that has been there for, um, a long time. (Maybe I need to put them on freecycle!)

I’ve recently started blending my own herb teas and these would be perfect to package with a little jar of tea as a gift. I’d love to give the Little Dipper a test run! As for the anchor, I usually just wind the string of my tea bag around the handle of my mug to avoid having to fish the little bugger out of the cup. I think the Tagua chip on the end of the string might be just enough weight to help it stay in place when wrapped that way…

I don’t think the counter wieght issue is really an issue at all. tea bags always float up. part of the relaxing experience of making tea is getting to poke it down into the water with your spoon!

Heather, Heather, Lauren, Arduous, Allie I put your names in the pot.

Chile…the maker said they are colorfast…but could take on a little color of the tea if soaked in the cup. That shouldn’t be an issue since they are suppose to hang outside the cup. Did you want me to pop your name in the hat too?

I like the spoon idea Allie. That would solve the problem of a jar without a lid or handle.

Oh wow! These are so cool! I’m a huge tea drinker — green, loose, all day long.

I can’t think of anything for a counter weight at the moment. I tie tea bags to a mixing spoon I balance across my iced tea pitcher when I make tea.

Love the tagua nut tag. My sweetie used to turn tagua nuts. (Much like these.) I wonder if they have to coat the surfaces with anything to make them stable when exposed to water (like with the buttons)...
